This spread has a variety of uses. Try it as a substitute for mayo on a sandwich or add a generous spoonful to the top of your favorite pasta dish.
Ingredients:
1 15 oz container Ricotta cheese
4 large basil leaves
1 clove of garlic, minced
2 Tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
Kosher salt to taste
Black Pepper to taste
Method:
Stack the basil leaves on top of each other and roll them together. Slice them across as thinly as possible.
Combine the basil and the remaining ingredients in a small bowl. Taste it and see how you feel about it
Chill for at least an hour before using.
